Features

An encased in a continuous silicone layer surrounds the LED strip, forming a continuous waterproof barrier that meets IP68 requirements. This construction protects the internal circuitry from water immersion, humidity, dust, and chemical exposure, making the strip reliable in environments where standardproducts are insufficient. The silicone material also provides mechanical cushioning, improving resistance to vibration and impact.
The 15mm width is purpose-built to support the silicone encapsulation and internal optical components. Compared with narrow boards, this wider structure offers greater mechanical stability and improved heat dissipation, which is particularly important for a sealed product operating at 18W per meter. The additional width also allows more consistent current distribution along the strip, contributing to stable output over long runs.
Each LED is paired with its own integrated diffusion element within the silicone housing. This individual lightspreading structure softens glare, reduces harsh point brightness, and creates a more uniform visual appearance, even at close viewing distances. Unlike surface diffusion methods, this approach maintains optical consistency even if the outer surface is exposed to water or contaminants.
The strip supports one LED per cut, with each LED driven by its own dedicated resistor. This design greatly simplifies length adjustment and minimizes performance variation after cutting. Voltage stability and brightness consistency are maintained at each segment, which is especially valuable for customized outdoor installations where precise sizing and reliability are critical.
